Two-piece softener is perfect where water consumption is large or where water is extremely hard. It consists of a resin tank with a control head and separate salt tank. The maintenance-service is intuitive and limited to salt refill only. The softener will provide soft, clean and healthy water.

Hard water (containing large amounts of calcium and magnesium salts) flows through an ion exchange resin inside the device. As a result Ca2+ Mg2++ ions are replaced with sodium ions from the resin and water is softened. This eliminates the problem of scale deposition and stains on a fixture.
