Sediment & carbon cartridges are high quality two-stage cartridges. Half of the cartridge is made od PP spun, while the other is made of activated carbon. The combination of sediment and carbon filter is extreamly effective.

Polluted water flows through the cartridge towards its core. Sediments which can be found in it are seized by micropores whose external diameter exceeds internal one. Large particles are intercepted close to the surface, while smaller ones – in deeper layers.
This is what increases the effective surface area, filtration performance and cartridge’s life span.
Due to its porous structure, carbon is perfect for filtering purposes. Contaminants which can be found in water and which flow though activated carbon are intercepted (adsorbed) in pores and, as a result, water gets purified and free of toxins.
Before use, rinse the cartridge until the color of the water disappears.
