How does it work?

GAC cartridges contain high quality coconut shell granulated activated carbon certified by NSF. The size of grains enables maximum performance of contaminant adsorption. Water flows along the cartridge (upwards), which allows it to stay longer in touch with the filtration bed.

Due to its porous structure, carbon is perfect for filtering purposes. Contaminants which can be found in water and which flow though activated carbon are intercepted (adsorbed) in pores and, as a result, water gets purified and free of toxins
