On November 29th 2017 Łódź held the 3rd Forum of Investors and Exporters. In the center of Poland, in the center of Europe. The meeting gathered together investors, experts, officials and business support institutions - among others from Mexico and Canada and representatives of foreign and domestic business. UST-M was represented by Emilia Kubicka-Szalewicz, Director of Foreign Trade, who spoke about the process of expansion into the foreign markets, differences in export activity to EU and non-EU countries and about challenges and barriers associated with entering new market
The discussions during the Forum concerned the issues of internationalization of enterprises and increase in the activity of Polish companies on foreign markets. According to the Central Statistical Office of Poland, in the first three quarters of 2017, the value of Polish exports was 149.63 billion EUR. That is 9.8 percent more than the same period a year ago.

The 3rd Forum of Investors and Exporters was organized by: the Lodz International Fair and Regional Investor’s and Exporter’s Service Centre of the Marshal’s Office of the Lodzkie Region in cooperation with ASM, Market Research and Analysis Centre.
